Hello, my name is Nala and I’m a gorgeous one-year-old girl who was brought into the National Animal Welfare Trust (NAWT) in August when my owners couldn’t look after me.

I’m a sensitive girl who is still getting used to cattery life. I spend a lot of time in my bed, watching the world go by. I need a patient owner who’s experienced with nervous cats and will give me all the time and space I need to feel safe.

Don’t be put off if I sometimes hiss when approached – it’s just because I’m scared. I’m actually happy to let people spend time with me and I love when they throw me some tasty treats but I’m still not quite ready to let them touch me yet. Once I find that special human and we build up trust, I’m sure that day will come though.

Watford Observer:

I’m looking for a quiet home with adults or families with children age 16 and over and I’ll need to be the only pet in the home. Once I’ve settled in, I’ll need access to the outdoors so that I can explore.

Like all cats taken in by the NAWT, I’ve been medically checked by a vet, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and neutered and come with four free weeks of Petplan Insurance.

If you can give me a good home, please email reception@nawt.org.uk or call 0208 950 0177 (option 2) to arrange a visit.
