Another man has been charged in connection with a stabbing last summer.
On July 5, a man was seriously assaulted in Horseshoe Lane, Garston, near Woodside Leisure Centre.
The man, aged in his 20s, was taken to hospital but was later discharged.
Connor O’Sullivan-Smith, 26, from Bedford was arrested and charged with grievous bodily harm and possessing a weapon.
He appeared at Hatfield Remand Court today (January 29) and is remanded into custody ahead of a trial scheduled for July 12 this year.
Two men released on conditional bail are also scheduled to stand trial alongside O’Sullivan-Smith:
- James Diston, 27, of no fixed address was previously charged with grievous bodily harm and possessing a weapon.
- Danny Hardy, 30, of The Gossamers, Watford, was charged with grievous bodily harm and preventing the course of justice.
Two men have also been released with no further action:
• Aged 24, from Watford, previously charged and remanded with grievous bodily harm
• Aged 29, from Watford, previously arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
DC Marius Edghill, from the Watford Local Crime Unit, said: “We are pleased to have secured another charge and remand in connection with this violent assault and we now await the scheduled trial date.”
