In these days of online meetings, it was a challenge for Watford Interfaith Association (WIFA) to mount an interesting AGM that covered the group’s business for the year as well as revisit all the successful events that were held. But with a power point presentation depicting all the activities of WIFA, some encouraging words from Watford’s MP Dean Russell, an inspiring talk from Watford General Hospital’s lead Chaplain Anthony Curran and an address from Mayor Peter Taylor, who is patron of WIFA, an enjoyable meeting was held on Tuesday, February 23.
At least 54 people attended and the newly elected committee consists of people from Baha’i, Christian, Hindu, Jain, Jewish, Muslim, Quaker, Sai Baba, Sikh, and Unificationist faiths. The chair of WIFA is Harjit Singh. The meeting was recorded and is available to view on the Watford Interfaith Association Facebook page.
