World Book Day may have been different this year but that hasn’t stopped us from producing our special pull-out and featuring hundreds of children who dressed up as their favourite characters.
The coronavirus restrictions meant many pupils were unable to be in their classrooms as usual for the annual celebration of reading and imagination, but they didn’t miss out on the fun thanks to their teachers and technology.
The efforts of staff at a number of schools also helped ensure we have also been able to mark the occasion in tomorrow’s edition of the Watford Observer.
The schools featured are: Abbots Hill; Ascot Road Community Free; Cherry Tree Primary; Chorleywood Primary; Lanchester Community Free; Little Reddings Primary; Oxhey Wood Primary; St Anthonys Catholic Primary; St Josephs Primary; The Grange Academy.
Make sure you pick up your copy of tomorrow’s paper to see our World Book Day special.
