Police have sent out several appeals this week following crimes including a stabbing and a break-in.

Hertfordshire Constabulary are still investigating the incidents and are appealing for any information and witnesses.

Stabbing in Watford

Police have appealed for witnesses and dash cam footage after a 16-year-old was stabbed in Watford.

The victim was attacked by two males in St Albans Road at the junction with Victoria Road on Sunday (March 21) at 6pm.

A fight broke out and the teenager was stabbed in the torso before being rushed to hospital. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Officers have appealed for anyone with information to come forward - particularly those with dash cam footage from the area at the time.

Attempted burglary in Watford

Police are appealing for information and witnesses after someone attempted to break into a home in Watford.

Hertfordshire Constabulary says the incident occurred around 4.20am on Tuesday, March 9, at a property in Widgeon Way.

The force says a male attempted to open the front door.

He then walked away and was quickly followed by another male.

Any witnesses, people with information or with dash cam footage are urged to come forward.

Valuables stolen from home in Watford

Police are appealing for information and witnesses after expensive valuables including an Omega watch were stolen from a home in Watford.

Hertfordshire Constabulary says a residential property was burgled in Woodford Road between 5.30pm and 7.30pm on Wednesday, March 3.

Some distinctive items were taken by thieves including a black Cube pushbike and an Omega Seamaster watch with a silver strap and black watch face.

Common Assault in Bushey

Police are appealing for information and witnesses after a man was spat at before being punched in the face.

Hertfordshire Constabulary says the man, who is in his 50s, was attacked in The Moatfield in Bushey on Monday, March 22, around 6.30pm.

A group of eight to nine young males rode past the victim on electric scooters before one of them spat at him, the force said.

When the man challenged this, another member of the group punched him in the face.

Kids climb roof in Watford

Police are trying to find three young boys who were caught playing on the roof of a community centre in Watford.

Hertfordshire Constabulary says concerns were raised about children climbing on the roof of the Meriden Community Centre off Garsmouth Way on the afternoon of Thursday, February 25.

Officers would now like to identify three boys caught on CCTV and contact them and their families.

PC Aaron George, from the Watford North Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “We have CCTV footage of three young boys playing on the roof of the Meriden community centre, and naturally we and the staff are very concerned for their wellbeing. If they had slipped and fallen, they could have been really seriously injured.

“We would really like to identify the boys so we can talk to them and their families about personal safety and the dangers of climbing tall buildings. If you recognise the descriptions of these children then please get in touch with us as soon as possible.”
