Over the course of three lockdowns, humanity had to adapt and become tactical in controlling their bladder as most toilets are shut – making trips away from home a pain.
With a four-day weekend ahead this Easter, many groups are likely to spend some time outside.
But with restaurants, pubs and many other facilities with public toilets shut, it is often hard to find a place to urinate or go to the toilet.
Lockdown Loo is a crowdsourced website that has collected data on which loos are still open over lockdown.
The map has been commonly used over lockdown, and could be very handy for those out and about over the Easter weekend.
Around Watford these are mainly limited to supermarket toilets and public parks.
Lockdown Loo says it has recorded 5,500 open toilets in the UK, take a look at the map to see which areas in around Watford have open toilets.
Blue icons indicate toilets are still open, while red icons are toilets that may be closed during the third lockdown.
Some of these areas include:
Carpenders Park Lawn Cemetery – one cubicle in an outbuilding, not very clean.
Tesco Rickmansworth Superstore – toilets at bigger Tesco stores are open under social distancing rules.
Rickmansworth Aquadrome, near cafe – open all day including Sundays. Only one person in at a time.
Shell Petrol station, A303 Rickmansworth Road near M25 J18.
