- As part of the lockdown easing, shops, gyms and close contact services such as hairdressers are allowed to reopen to the public.

- Bars, pubs and restaurants will also be allowed to serve customers outdoors, but groups will be limited to two households or by the 'rule of six'.

- Atria Watford, the town’s indoor shopping centre, has confirmed that most of its retailers will be opening today and said it is “extremely excited” to welcome back shoppers.
