People in Watford will be able to enjoy some sunshine and warm weather this bank holiday weekend as temperatures are forecast to hit 12C.

But anyone planning a visit to pub gardens or outdoor spaces should note that it will not be sunny throughout the three-day weekend.

Whilst people can look forward to sunny spells and dry weather over Saturday and Sunday, cloudy weather is also predicted - and on Monday rain is set to fall.

Here is a breakdown of this weekend's weather, according to Met Office:

Saturday

Whilst Saturday will not see temperatures reach their highest in Watford, it is set to remain clear throughout the day.

Cloudy weather is predicted, although sunshine is expected to break through in the late afternoon.

It is also predicted to be warm during the afternoon, with temperatures reaching highs of 10c by 1pm and lasting until 5pm.

The temperature is expected to drop from 6pm.

Sunday

It is set to be another clear day on Sunday, with temperatures increasing throughout the morning and early afternoon.

Highs of 12c are predicted in Watford by mid-afternoon, which will then fall towards the evening.

Sunshine is predicted during the day, although cloudy weather is also expected.

Monday

Monday is forecast to be the worst day of the three-day weekend, with rain set to fall in the afternoon.

The Met Office predicts dry weather up until 4pm, which is when light rain is expected to fall in Watford.

Heavier rain is also predicted as the afternoon goes on, the Met Office said.

But despite the rain, warm weather is predicted, with temperatures reaching highs of 11c by 1pm, dropping to 9c and 8c in the afternoon.
