A developer has announced a selection of new properties at a major new development in Watford are now up for sale.

Bellway is constructing apartments of one, two, and three bedrooms as part of the Riverwell regeneration by Watford General Hospital.

Riverwell will see around a 1,000 new homes built in total, along with a retirement village, primary school, shops, and further ameneties.

Bellway's Waterside development forms part of Riverwell, and enough progress has now been made to put some homes on the market.

The particular scheme off Thomas Sawyer Way in question is of 143 flats in a block up to 11 storeys high.

A total of 110 apartments at the development will be sold as private homes, with 33 further homes being provided as affordable apartments for rent or shared ownership.

Bellway says prices start from £295,000.

The developer exchanged contracts on this site in Watford at the end of 2019, and have since pressed ahead with the development.

Waterside in total will feature 408 flats across three buildings.
