A garage was damaged after a car crashed into the building.

Police and fire services were called to Skidmore Way in Rickmansworth last night (June 1) at 7.50pm after a car drove through a garage wall.

It was reported that the car was reversing into a front garden before crashing with the garage.

While no one was injured in the incident, Three Rivers District Council is currently assessing the damage to the garage.

Herts Fire Control tweeted: “Rickmansworth appliance @A07Fire were mobilised to assist with assisting a dangerous structure after a car had driven through a garage wall.

“The Incident Support Unit was also mobilised for its Acro-props to support the structural integrity of the building”.

Hertfordshire Constabulary says that enquiries into the incident are continuing.
