Bushey’s giant car boot sale confirms that it will return again this weekend, following a series of previous delays.
The popular car boot sale at Little Bushey Lane was meant to become a weekly occurrence again from May 16 after going on a hiatus from September 2020 last year.
However the inconsistent weather and regular rain over the course of May meant that it could not restart on May 16, and on the later revised date of May 23.
Eventually it was able to restart last Sunday (May 30) as Britain basked in the sun over the Bank Holiday weekend.
With sunny weather expected in Hertfordshire again this weekend, the car boot sale has confirmed it will be open again for Sunday (June 6) from 8am to 2pm.
As long as the weather is consistent, the organisers hope to be open every Sunday up until September.
This means that visitors can buy or sell unwanted clothes, toys and other items, while also enjoying the food at the site.
