Police have seized a knife as part of an investigation into a group of people having an argument in Watford.

Hertfordshire Constabulary says it is investigating a public order offence which occurred in Newhouse Crescent just after 8.20pm on Sunday, June 13.

A group of young males were involved in an argument where it is alleged a knife was seen.

A knife has since been recovered as part of the investigation, police said.

Officers are now appealing for information and witnesses over the incident.

Detective Constable Judith Muskett, from the Watford Local Crime Unit, said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident between the males, or has information that they believe could assist our investigation.

“It happened in a residential area so we believe some people may have seen what occurred. Please get in touch if you can help.”
