Hello, I’m Doris and this is my daughter Daisy, a tabby. We came to the National Animal Welfare Trust in May when our owner moved.

We’re an affectionate pair of 14 and 15-year-old cats who would love to find a nice retirement home with lots of cuddles and fuss.

The quiet life is definitely for us. Lounging around in the garden or on a comfy bed is how we like to spend most of our time. A quiet, peaceful home without an awful lot going on would be best for us. And, although we spend most our day relaxing around the house, access to a garden would be great.

We like it when our humans are around most of the time too to wait on us hand and foot.

Watford Observer:

Daisy is a 14-year-old tabby

We’re lovely, very happy cats and the only thing that annoys us is when we try to take each other’s food as we’re not good at sharing.

We’d prefer to be the only pets in the home as it means more attention - it’s bad enough having to share with Daisy, but I allow it as she’s my daughter.

Watford Observer:

Doris and her daughter are generally very happy cats

We also wouldn’t mind living with either adults or a family as long as the children are over 12-years-old and understand that if one of us gets a head scratch, the other does too.

If you could give us a peaceful home together, email reception@nawt.org.uk or call 0208 950 0177 (option 2) to arrange a visit.
