Watford is showing its support for England as the team prepare for their crunch match this evening at Wembley.

The Three Lions will take on Denmark in the second Euro 2020 semi-final tonight at 8pm, with a win for either team guaranteeing a spot in Sunday’s final against Italy.

Ahead of tonight’s big game, Mayor Peter Taylor and former England player Blissett headed down to Watford Town Hall where they raised a large England flag in support of the Three Lions.

Posting a picture on Facebook, Mr Taylor said: “What an honour to raise the England flag at Watford Town Hall today with Watford FC and England legend Luther Blissett.

“Come on England!!”

The England squad have been staying in Watford ahead of tonight’s match, with the team believed to have arrived at The Grove Hotel around 4pm yesterday.

Players pictured at the hotel on the official England Instagram page includes Bukayo Saka, Kalvin Phillips, Phil Foden, Conor Coady, Jadon Sancho, Mason Mount, Kieran Trippier.

England coaches were also spotted in the area by the hotel earlier this week.

The squad tend to rest at The Grove, with it being just a short distance to both St George’s Park and Wembley Stadium.
