Police have made an arrest after a man was reported to have indecently exposed himself in a Watford park.

Hertfordshire Constabulary says the incident occurred in Oxhey Park, Wiggenhall Road, on Monday July 5.

The force had recieved a report that a man had exposed himself to multiple people.

It was alleged that he also made inappropriate comments.

Police are investigating the indecent exposure incident and are appealing for information and witnesses.

Investigator Daryl Allwood said: “We have already spoken to several people, but we believe that more people may have witnessed the offence who may not have made contact with us yet.

“If you were in the park around the time specified, and believe you may have witnessed the incident or witnessed any suspicious behaviour, please get in contact. Alternatively, if you have any information that you think may assist with our enquiries, please report it. Any information, even something that may seem insignificant, could be key to the investigation.”

  • A 38-year-old man from Watford was arrested in connection with the incident. He has been released on police bail whilst enquiries continue.
