- Drivers faced delays to their journeys this evening following a crash.

- Police have confirmed two vehicles were involved in a collision on the northbound carriageway of the A41.

- It happened near Apsley at around 4.30pm and involved a white Vauxhall Corsa and a yellow Ford Focus. No injuries were reported.

- Both vehicles needed to be recovered which meant the carriageway was partially blocked.

- There was standstill traffic on the A41 northbound between the roundabout at junction 20 for the M25 (Kings Langley) and the crash scene for around two hours.

- The delays were cleared by 6.50pm.
