A Porsche driver who was more than three times the drink drive limit has been fined more than £2,000.
Stephen Rooker had been driving a Porsche Cayenne in Colley Land, Chorleywood, when he had been caught over the limit on June 27.
The 57-year-old was found to have 130mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the legal limit of 35mg.
Rooker, of Colley Land, appeared at St Albans Magistrates’ Court on July 27 and pleaded guilty to consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in his breath exceeded the prescribed limit.
He was disqualified from driving for 33 months and ordered to pay a total of £2,515 in a fine and costs.
