Businesses in Three Rivers can apply for grants from a £350,000 fund to boost the post-pandemic economic recovery.
Three Rivers District Council is working with Hertfordshire Growth Hub, run by Hertfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership, to deliver the business growth grants.
The grants are worth between £2,000 and £5,000 and are designed for business owners to get expertise advice.
Grants are available for businesses that employ between five and 19 people, have the capability to grow and have been affected by Covid restrictions over the past year.
Cllr Sarah Nelmes, leader of Three Rivers District Council, said: "We are absolutely committed to working with local businesses to ensure that as a district we bounce back better with a vibrant and sustainable economy that is fit for the future in the world after the pandemic.”
Hertfordshire Growth Hub will decide which businesses to support, as well as how much funding to award. Business advisers will support businesses to develop their grant applications.
Sian Ryan, head of business operations for Hertfordshire Growth Hub, said: “We are delighted to be working with Three Rivers District Council to support local businesses to continue to adapt and grow following the pandemic.”
