A Royal British Legion group has celebrated its 100 years of service.
The Queen even sent a congratulatory message to the Rickmansworth Royal British Legion branch as it celebrated the 100th anniversary on Saturday (August 14).
To mark 100 years, a new sign was placed outside the Rickmansworth and West Hyde Club, which was unveiled by the Deputy Lieutenant of Hertfordshire, Harjit Singh.
Cadets from TS Renown and 2313 (Rickmansworth & Chalfonts) ATC helped manning the displays of Poppy Appeal.
The Royal British Legion exists to support the serving and ex-serving community, funded by the Poppy Appeal; to honour the service and sacrifice made by our armed forces.
