Video footage shows the moment customers began to attack staff working at German Donor Kebab at the town centre.

Staff members for the kebab food chain at The Parade in Watford were attacked by a customer who tried to enter the place last Friday (August 13) near 10.55pm.

Footage captured by onlooker George Pilgrem reveals that staff were backed into the restaurant by a man, as at least two people could be seen antagonising the staff members.

One of the two people could be seen pushing forward to the staff members who were huddled by the door of the restaurant, while the other picked up a sign outside and threw it.

During the fight, a woman working at the store was punched in the face and also later bottled, police revealed.

She suffered cuts and bruises to her forehead and cut her lip.

An 18-year-old man from Stanmore was arrested after police attended the scene, but he was released on police bail while enquiries continue.
