Hello, my name is Lola and I’m a two-year-old girl who was brought to the National Animal Welfare Trust (NAWT) recently when I wasn’t getting on with the children in my home.
I like to be around people and will come out to say hello to you but I can be nervous and may hiss if I feel vulnerable. I like a gentle head scratch although I’m not yet comfortable with being picked up. But I am a friendly, chatty and sociable girl and just need a gentle, patient owner who will respect my boundaries.
I haven’t shown much interest in toys here at the rescue centre but I do like a tasty treat if you toss it on the floor for me to investigate.
I’m looking for an adult-only home without any other pets. I’ve always been a house cat but I could have access to the outdoors if I live on a quiet road.
Like all cats taken in by the NAWT, I’ve been medically checked by a vet, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and neutered and come with four free weeks of Petplan Insurance.
If you can give me a good home, email reception@nawt.org.uk or call 0208 950 0177 (option 2) to arrange a visit.
The rescue centre, which receives no government or local authority funding, has a policy of never putting a healthy animal down. It is holding a party to celebrate its 50th birthday on September 18 and everyone is welcome.
