One of the UK's most well-known television shows marked its return to our screens with a visit to Rickmansworth.

The One Show was back from its summer break with a line-up of star guests including Holywood star Billy Crystal, actor James Nesbitt, and comedian Lee Mack.

Viewers of the 7pm BBC show will have also noticed that shoppers from Rickmansworth also played a starring role in last night's programme.

Reporter Rezzy Ghadjar visited the town's high street to ask people how they were feeling about schools returning, offices reopening, and the restrictions being eased.

Ghadjar interviewed a number of people who were out and about and there was certainly a feeling of apprehension amongst interviewees about how they felt about their daily routines.

One woman, who was wearing a mask, was asked whether she felt things had gone back to "normal".

She responded: "Not completely, I think my husband and myself are still very cautious", while another woman said: "No, not really. I'm finding mainly that i don't go out as much as what I'd used to".

A third said: "I'm still a bit more careful. I do sanitise my hands, I wear a mask wherever possible."

Shoppers were excited about the things they were now able to do again such as go on holiday to Cornwall, attend their granddaughter's wedding party, or go abroad and see family they hadn't seen for two years.

Others were looking forward to celebrating Christmas again with their wider family.
