Police are clamping down on speeding and anti-social driving in two areas of North Watford following complaints from residents.

Hertfordshire Constabulary has revealed what officers will be prioritising in the north of the town following a consultation with the community.

Feedback found residents in North Watford are very concerned about anti-social driving and speeding along the Greycaine estate and Bushey Mill Lane.

It has also been suggested to police that people are being disturbed by noise from loud exhausts during the evening.

Thieves stealing catalytic converters and theft from vehicles are also among major concerns from residents in North Watford, according to police.

According to the most recent data from Police.UK, 327 crimes were reported in North Watford in July 2021.

People can raise issues in their community by using Hertfordshire Constabulary's 'echo' system, which allows people to voice thoughts and opinions regarding policing in their local area.

Speaking about the ‘echo’ system, Hertfordshire Constabulary said: “Echo is a great way for us to maintain contact with the communities we serve and gather vital feedback to enable us to focus on the issues that are important to them, and target our resources where they are needed most.

“The online form is quick and easy to use, and you can remain anonymous if you wish. Please take a few minutes to let us know what you think we should be focusing on in your neighbourhood. We are here, and listening.”
