Several possession of weapons offences in Watford were reported to police in July – and data reveals where they are said to have occurred.

Police.uk figures have revealed that a range of crimes were reported in the borough during the month such as vehicle crime, robbery and anti-social behaviour.

The latest data shows a total of 10 possession of weapons offences were reported in Watford in July, up from seven the previous month.

According to Police.uk, they were reported: 

  • On or near Albanwood
  • On or near Hudson Close
  • On or near Hatfield Road
  • On or near Shopping Area
  • On or near Shopping Area
  • On or near Nightclub
  • On or near Woodford Road
  • On or near Shopping Area
  • On or near Nightclub
  • On or near Hospital

The latest figures show a total of 984 crimes were reported in Watford in July, up from 935 in June.

Whilst anti-social behaviour offences and violence and sexual offences were the two highest reported crimes, Hertfordshire Constabulary received several reports over other incidents as well.

This included 77 reports of vehicle crime, whilst there were 60 recorded incidents of criminal damage and arson.

The data also shows that robbery (12), burglary (24) and drug (26) offences were among the lowest number of reported crimes.
