Hi, my name is Twinkle and I’m a beautiful two-year-old girl. I came to the National Animal Welfare Trust heavily pregnant and had five beautiful babies who’ve all found their forever homes.

After giving birth, I fell ill and the team here discovered I have feline aids. It was touch-and-go for a while as I felt so exhausted and unwell, I wasn’t eating but the vet and my carers looked after me so well I pulled through.

Sadly, my condition is terminal, and although I’m happy and active now, I may not have long left. So I’m looking for a home where I can enjoy my final days with a loving family.

I’m currently on medication to keep me comfortable and will need to continue this for the rest of my life. Unfortunately, as a pre-existing condition, my medical treatment won’t be covered by insurance. My vet is happy to speak to any potential owners.

Watford Observer:

I’m looking for a home with adults or families with children aged at least five and will need to be the only pet in the home.

Due to my illness, I have to be an indoor cat but I don’t mind because I love people so much and can spend more time with them. I’m a friendly, chatty and playful girl who will certainly keep you entertained.

Watford Observer:

If you’re the kind person who can give Twinkle the peaceful, loving home she needs, email reception@nawt.org.uk or call 0208 950 0177 (option 2) to arrange a visit.
