A man has been convicted after a historic case where a teenage girl was sexually touched over 40 years ago.
William Kane, 81, from Watford, has been under trial after reports of inappropriately touching a girl aged under 14 around the late 1970s and early 1980s.
Last Friday (October 1), he was convicted of three charges of indecent assault on an underaged female victim.
It is understood that the offences involved sexually touching the victim, who was aged under 14 at the time.
Kane is due to appear at St Albans Crown Court on November 10 for sentencing.
