Jurassic Park has come to Watford’s shopping centre in a ‘Dino Event’ extravaganza.

Dinosaurs are taking over Atria Watford from today (Saturday) to bring the thrills and excitement of the Jurassic period to the centre.

Shoppers will be taken back millions of years as they come face-to-face with the life-sized creatures, which will be around during the October half-term period.

The dinosaurs you can expect to see at the centre include a Pteranodon, Amargasaurus, Dilophosaurus, Velociraptors, Stegosaurus and Allosaurus.

The free event will invite shoppers to follow the trail and spot the many life-like dinosaurs.

Pick up a map from the merchandise stand, located on the lower mall outside Flying Tiger Copenhagen, and think like an adventurer to follow the trail.

People can even text the dinosaurs a question, learn some dino-facts and create the perfect family-fun photo.

With moving parts and interactive dino rides, plus a merchandise shop, Atria Watford’s dinosaur takeover will last until October 31.

Vicki Costello, Centre Director at Atria Watford, said: “This event is going to be bigger and better than you can even begin to imagine – it’ll be absolute dino-mite! We can’t wait to welcome you for exploration, excitement and education. It’s going to blow our visitors’ socks off!”
