A museum art & crafts fair attracted more than 400 visitors who enjoyed taking in an excellent display of work from ten artists.
The event at Bushey Museum took place earlier this month over the Remembrance weekend.
Along with artwork, poet Andrea Neidle was invited to perform readings on both days.
Rita Castle, from Friends of Bushey Museum, said: "As ever the number of museum volunteers plus artists in various fields turned out to make this one of the most successful events we have ever held.
"Local people, some of whom hadn't known we had our own museum, were pleasantly surprised not just by the craft fair, but by the huge range of local memorabilia, superb paintings by many local artists, notably Sir Hubert Herkomer and Lucy Kemp Welch, plus the goods on offer. They all said they'd be coming again."
