A man who damaged a mattress belonging to Hertfordshire Constabulary was fined.
Terry Green, 37, of Muirfield Road, Watford, was said to have purposely destroyed the mattress or acting reckless leading to it being damaged on March 6, 2021.
It belonged to the force at Hatfield, Hertfordshire.
Appearing at Hatfield Magistrates’ Court on January 14 this year, Green admitted to destroying the item.
He was fined a total of £231 for the damage and has also been discharged conditionally for six months.
