Hey, I’m Safari, a one-year-old boy looking for my forever home. I came to the National Animal Welfare Trust this month when my human had allergies and couldn’t look after me.

I’m pretty independent and keep myself to myself but when I do spend time with people I really enjoy it, so I’m looking for a patient owner who will help build my confidence and bring me out of my shell. I can be quite the little chatterbox and will often greet visitors with a meow when they approach me or when I’m being taken to the vets.

My favourite thing is being groomed as it makes me feel very pampered and loved. I do like to watch the toys when the staff here show them to me but I’m not yet confident enough to join in the game. Maybe you could teach me?

Watford Observer:

I’m looking for a home on a quiet road living with adults and teenagers. Because I’m shy and tend to stay in the corner of the pen, my new family would need to be patient and give me time to feel comfortable.

Once I’ve settled in I’d like to have access to the outdoors to explore.

Watford Observer:

If you could give me a loving home, please call 0208 950 0177 (option 2) or email reception@nawt.org.uk to arrange a visit.
