A man was taken to hospital after he was hit by a van.
Eastbury Road and Hampermill Lane was shut off last night (January 25) following the incident where a pedestrian was hit at 5.30pm.
According to police, a black Citroen Berlingo van hit the man, and an ambulance took him to hospital to have his head and back injuries assessed.
The injures are not believed to be life threatening or life changing, according to the force.
Police were seen talking to a person in a car, while a person lying on the floor was being attended to.
There was extremely heavy traffic in Eastbury Road during rush hour, stretching back to Bushey station, but it cleared up later in the evening.
