A Watford man is set to stand trial after he was charged with eight counts of sexual activity with a girl aged under 16.
Sorin Buca, 49, allegedly engaged in non-penetrative sexual activity with a girl on multiple occasions between April 2018 and January this year.
The Gammons Lane resident has also been charged with penetrative sexual activity with a girl under 16 between June and September 2019.
Buca, who is currently in custody, appeared at Hatfield Magistrates’ Court on Friday, January 21.
The 49-year-old is scheduled to go on trial at St Albans Crown Court on February 21.
