Police have released a picture of a person they want to find as part of its investigation into a sexual assault in Watford town centre.

The incident occurred near to TGI Fridays in High Street around 5.30pm on Wednesday, January 26.

Hertfordshire Constabulary has not released details about what happened but has been approached for further information.

The force want to identify and speak to the person pictured as part of its enquiries.

PC Jessica Tanseli, from the Watford Local Crime Unit, said: “We are looking to identify the person pictured as we believe they were in the area at the time, and may have vital information about this offence.

“If you recognise them, or you have any further information that could assist us, then please get in touch as soon as possible.”
