A driver has claimed a pothole infested road has become a “danger” to motorists and pedestrians.
Butch Bracq has been left infuriated by the state of Garsmouth Way, saying it has become “extremely uncomfortable to drive on”.
Butch has lived in the Meriden for the past four years and regularly uses the road but says he has now gone through two sets of tyres due to the pothole situation.
He said: “The road itself, with all the potholes, is extremely uncomfortable to drive on and is a danger to motorists and pedestrians alike.
“The road is damaging to the tyres and the potholes need to be resurfaced.”
Pictures show there are plenty of potholes in Garsmouth Way and Butch says he has been in touch with Hertfordshire County Council to fix the road.
But Butch claims that he was told that the potholes “weren’t bad enough to warrant repair”.
“I have been trying to get this sorted for three and a half years but nothing is being done,” he said.
“The road needs repairing.”
Hertfordshire County Council has been approached for comment.
