A woman has been charged with attempted murder after a man suffered a stab wound to the chest in Watford.
Police were called to Tolpits Lane at 11.40pm on September 3, 2020, where they found a man with life-threatening injuries before he was rushed to hospital.
Officers at the time said he was in a stable condition and appealed for witnesses.
Last Thursday (February 3), Karina Bitjukova, of Kemble Way in Wickford, appeared at St Albans Magistrates’ Court via video link charged with attempted murder.
The 29-year-old was also charged with having a kitchen knife in Tolpits Lane on the same day.
A plea of not guilty or no plea was indicated, according to court papers.
Bitjukova was granted unconditional bail and the case was sent for trial at St Albans Crown Court on March 7.
