Like many of your readers, whatever their political persuasion, I feel badly let down by our Prime Minister over the Partygate revelations and his attempts to cover up wrongdoing. He seems to lack integrity and his word can no longer be trusted.
Compare him with Sir Chris Whitty, a man who works six days a week and volunteers at UCL on Sundays. He puts the public good as his number one priority and has inspired millions of us to behave well and follow the rules. None of us would dream of questioning his honesty or integrity.
I think Mr Johnson would benefit greatly from taking advice from Sir Chris as to how he should change his behaviour in order to win back the respect of the people.
