Update: Police have identified the person pictured in the CCTV images that were initially posted

Police investigating an assault inside the Atria Watford shopping centre have released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to.

A 16-year-old boy suffered cuts on his body after he was injured on an escalator by the Next clothing store at around 1pm on Friday January 14.

Hertfordshire Constabulary says the teenager was chased before falling down the escalator.

Initially, police believed he had been pushed down but further enquiries have established that he may have fallen instead.

As part of their enquiries into the injuries suffered, officers have released images of a person they believe can help with their enquiries.
