A plumber found guilty of burglary and a woman charged with attempted murder are among crime stories published this week.

Below we have listed five stories that you may have missed over the last few days as well as a description of what happened.

Four people accused of murder appear in court

Four people charged with the murder of a man in Bushey are set to go on trial later this year.

The defendants, who are all from London, appeared at St Albans Crown Court on Tuesday, February 8, accused of murdering 44-year-old Vishal Gohel.

He was discovered unresponsive inside a flat in High Street at around 10.45pm on Sunday, January 23, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Those accused of his murder will next appear in court at the end of March.

Wanted man who fled country after trying to buy grenades online jailed

A wanted man who went on the run after he was arrested for attempting to buy grenades online has been jailed.

Mohammed Humza, 30, originally of Fuller Road, Watford, was previously arrested at his home by officers in 2016, after using Bitcoin to pay for two grenades on the dark web.

Humza also enquired about the availability of more grenades and explosive materials, along with a detonator fuse.

But not to his knowledge, he was actually talking to someone from a law enforcement agency when enquiring about the items, and never received the grenades.

His home was searched and a number of electrical devices were seized, which had evidence of his intent to purchase the weapons, including searches for ‘F1 Grenades’ and login details for his dark web account.

Woman charged with attempted murder in Watford

A woman has been charged with attempted murder after a man suffered a stab wound to the chest in Watford.

Police were called to Tolpits Lane at 11.40pm on September 3, 2020, where they found a man with life-threatening injuries before he was rushed to hospital.

Officers at the time said he was in a stable condition and appealed for witnesses.

Last Thursday (February 3), Karina Bitjukova, of Kemble Way in Wickford, appeared at St Albans Magistrates’ Court via video link charged with attempted murder.

Woman accused of attacking three police constables in one day

A woman will appear in crown court for allegedly attacking three police constables in one day.

Jessica Serena Dilloo, 25, of Kings Road in Edmonton, has been accused of attacking the three constables in Watford on December 30, 2021.

It is not clear where in Watford the alleged attacks took place.

She pleaded not guilty to assaulting the constables – two females and one male – after appearing at St Albans Magistrates’ Court on February 1 this year.

Plumber found guilty of burglary after £3,000 stolen from flat

A plumber has been found guilty of a burglary where thousands of pounds was stolen from a flat.

Marlon Stevens-Joslin, 42, of Burnt Oak Fields, Edgware, had been carrying out work alone at the property in Watling Street, Radlett, on June 4, 2019.

And just over a month later on July 9 £3,000 was stolen from the address, St Albans Crown Court heard.

Blood was found at the scene which was forensically linked to Stevens-Joslin.
