Passengers faced an unusual obstacle to their journey when a trampoline crashed onto to the tracks in Bushey.

The unexpected hurdle was noticed by people travelling on the train between Watford and London around 11.30am this morning (Friday, February 18).

London Euston shared a picture of the trampoline on its twitter page as it urged people to not travel amid high winds caused by Storm Eunice.

London Northwestern Railway is among many train service providers to have issued a ‘Do Not Travel’ message, with many services disrupted due to the storm.

Jacqueline Starr, Chief Executive Officer at the Rail Delivery Group said: “Storm Eunice is causing widespread damage and we’ve had to respond by closing lines to keep our customers and staff safe.
