A large tree has toppled onto a bungalow roof in Watford as Storm Eunice continues to lash the area.
A picture has emerged of the tree splayed out over the property reportedly in Kytes Drive, Garston, with a police car and fire engine in the background.
A fire service spokesperson said: "We were called at 11:19 this morning to a report of a tree falling on a bungalow in Kytes Drive, Watford.
"One fire engine from St Albans Fire Station was sent to the scene, where firefighters and police officers cordoned off the scene and retrieved some medical equipment from the property for the residents, who had evacuated from the building before crews arrived."
A police spokesperson confirmed officers attended but left the incident with the fire service.
They added no one appears to have been injured and it has now been referred to the property management company.
Storm Eunice has caused mayhem throughout the day with at least 175 reports of fallen trees across Hertfordshire.
There are also major delays on the M25 after a tree blocked several lanes on the clockwise carriageway between junction 19 for Watford and 20 for Kings Langley/A41.
Numerous issues are also plaguing trains between Watford and Euston - including earlier today a trampoline blowing onto the line.
