A man has been seriously injured after he is believed to have fallen from a building in Watford.
Emergency services responded to calls from Rembrandt Way, off King Georges Avenue in the west of the town, shortly after 6pm yesterday (February 19).
A man was found lying on the ground and an area in the residential street was taped off by police officers at the scene.
Police say he was taken to hospital with serious injuries. His current condition is unknown.
Photos taken from the scene showed a large emergency presence, with six police vehicles thought to have attended along with two ambulances initially.
A vehicle from the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance also attended later, Watford London reported, and an ambulance operational commander vehicle from the East of England Ambulance Service was also pictured.
Forensic officers also turned up to carry out investigations, with the scene lifted later in the evening.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire Constabulary said: "Police were called at 6.07pm on February 19 to Kings Georges Avenue, Watford to reports of the concern for welfare of a man.
"It is believed the man had fallen from a building and suffered serious injuries. He was taken to hospital.
"The area was cordoned off until around 10pm."
