Train services have been halted between two stations due to electric wires being damaged by strong winds.
National Rail says the impact of Storm Eunice and the incoming Storm Franklin is causing disruption to London Northwestern Railway and West Midlands Railway networks today (February 21).
It said trains are currently not running between Watford Junction and St Albans Abbey due to damaged overhead electric wires between these stations.
“You may use your tickets at no extra cost on the Arriva Buses route 321 Sapphire Line,” a spokesperson said.

Passengers are being urged to check their journeys before travelling.

A yellow warning, covering all of the south east, has been put in place and urges residents to be wary of damage to buildings and trees being brought down.
The Met Office also said road, rail and air services may be affected, power cuts may occur and injuries and danger to life are a risk in coastal areas.
