A housing contractor has committed to supporting more communities thrive by donating £20,000 to the Watford Football Club Community Sports and Education Trust.

The Bugler Group, which has long been a part of the Watford FC family is extending its partnership by sponsoring through its foundation.

Chief Executive of The Bugler Group, Andy Bugler, said: "By re-affirming and increasing our support this season, we know that this funding will continue to help the trust deliver services which are of huge importance to the local community, such as the Man On event which I enjoyed seeing first hand."

Community director of the Trust, Rob Smith, said: "From the first conversation we had, we could tell that The Bugler Group really do care for the communities they are helping to develop. On behalf of all at the Trust, and most importantly those that need and make use of our many services, thank you to The Bugler Group for their continued support. We are only able to continue our charitable aims through sponsorships such as this."

As part of the sponsorship, Mr Bugler visited Meriden Community Centre and spoke with staff and participants at a Man On session.

Man On is a mental wellbeing support session for men over the age of 18 years old and is one of the many programmes that the Trust delivers as part of their mission to make a positive difference for all through sport, physical activity, and learning.

Further to this, The Bugler Group are working with the Trust to deliver the ‘Community VIPs, sponsored by The Bugler Group’ – whereby nominated beneficiaries of the trust’s work in the community will be donated tickets to a home Watford FC men’s first team matchday. Four tickets will be available for each home game.
