Hello everyone, my name’s Freddie and I’m a pretty 12-year-old cat. I’m a quiet girl who likes to keep to myself but I do enjoy a little fuss.

I find the cattery a bit scary so tend to stay in my bed as it’s quiet and very comfortable. I’m not keen on being picked up and may hiss if you approach me. The staff are taking it slow with me and you would need to give me space until I realise I can trust you.

I do enjoy a gentle brush and like to lean into it. I’ve even started to enjoy a little head rub (but sometimes still find this a bit overwhelming).

Watford Observer:

I’m looking for a quiet home with families whose children are aged 12 years and over. I could possibly live with another cat as I have previously, although we didn’t pay much attention to each other. I’d like a home without dogs though as they scare me.

Once I’ve settled in, I’d love access to the outside but, because of my dark fur, will need to wear a reflective collar so I can be seen by drivers at night.

Watford Observer:

Coming from the NAWT, I’ve been medically checked by a vet; vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and neutered; and come with four free weeks of Petplan insurance.

Could we keep each other company? If you can give me a home, email reception@nawt.org.uk or call 0208 950 0177 (option 2) to arrange a visit.
