It can be daunting to see the conflict in Ukraine unfold and you may be wondering what you could possibly do to help people caught up in the crisis.
There are many initiatives taking place to donate money and goods to the people in Ukraine, helping those suffering during these trying times.
Watford Borough Council is working with local groups including W3RT and Goods for Good to raise money and donate goods.
Watford Legend Luther Blissett has been helping out Goods for Good with the campaign.
Football is everything to me. But families fleeing Ukraine have nothing. So i am supremely proud to have kicked off the town’s appeal with @GOODSFORGOODuk ! With @WatfordMayor @WatfordCouncil @Watford3RT & local heroes getting behind it i know we will do gr8 things 💪🏾 @jksheva7 https://t.co/FR1RgbhB4a

How can I donate money?
Specially, it’s noted that clothing items are not needed, and instead people in Watford can help out by donating money to cover the truck costs to deliver supplies – which cost £3,000 per truck.
