After reading the February 2022 edition of Cassiobury Focus, I was pleased to read that Councillors Jessica Stiff and Peter Kloss can finally identify just how important Watford Met Station is to the people in this area and beyond who have to rely on for their daily travel to and from work.
However, it was not that long ago that Councillors Stiff and Kloss (and the Lib Dem-run council) were shelling out millions of pounds on plans to close Watford Met Station. For many years I have continuously campaigned against the council’s ideas and thoughts of closing the station, so it is good to learn that Councillors Stiff and Kloss are ‘on the right track’ as myself and the 1.8 million commuters that use the station every year.
