A driver was racially abused during a moment of road rage.
Police say that the owner of a grey BMW 1 Series exited his car during a road rage incident at the Eastbury Road traffic lights by the junction with Deacons Hill on February 5 at 12.10pm.
The driver walked up to the driver of a black Porsche, who is in his 30s, and racially abused the victim before getting back in his car and driving in the direction of Northwood / South Oxhey, says Hertfordshire Constabulary.
PC Owen Hillair-Brady said that “a number of enquiries” were made and now police are reaching out to the public as part of the investigation.
He said: “If you remember witnessing this incident, and you have any information you think may be useful to police – including dash cam footage – then please get in touch.”
Anyone with information is asked to email owen.hillair-brady@herts.police.uk, or through https://www.herts.police.uk/ro/report or call 101 quoting reference 41/10435/22.
