Hello there, my name’s Coco and I’m a beautiful 11-year-old Staffy looking for a nice retirement home. I came to the National Animal Welfare Trust a month ago when my owner couldn’t look after me.

I’m a very friendly girl and love nothing more than getting loads of attention from everyone around me. I just love being around people – even the vet! My favourite things are having cuddles on the sofa, a lovely afternoon snooze and as many treats as I can nab.

Because I’m an older girl, I’d really like someone who’s home a lot of the time as I get lonely being left. So, if you work from home or are retired yourself, I could be your perfect companion.

Watford Observer:

I’d like to live with adults only or a family with children aged ten or over. I’d also love to have access to a garden where I can potter about and enjoy the sunshine. I could possibly live with another dog as long as they are of a similar age and don’t have too much energy.

Coming from the NAWT, I’ve been medically checked by a vet; vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and neutered; given an individual training plan and four free weeks of Petplan insurance.

If you can give me the loving home I deserve, call 0208 950 0177 (option 2) or email reception@nawt.org.uk so we can arrange to meet.
