A warrant has been issued to arrest a woman who stole hundreds of pounds of alcohol in Watford during a three-day spree.
Michele Baldwin, 53, of no fixed address, previously admitted several charges but failed to appear at St Albans Magistrates’ Court on Monday (March 21) having been bailed.
Between December 28 and 30 she targeted Watford’s Asda three times and nabbed a total of £500 worth of alcohol.
On December 30 she was also in possession of class A drug diamorphine.
Baldwin has now been charged with failing to surrender to custody without reasonable cause having been released on bail.
St Albans Magistrates’ Court subsequently issued a warrant on Monday.
She initially pleaded guilty to the theft and drug charges on January 13 before the case was adjourned to enable a pre-sentence report to be prepared.
