A dinosaur appears to be settling in at Cassiobury Park ahead of a Jurassic Encounter exhibition.
There will be 50 life-sized animatronic dinosaurs that will move, snarl and roar at guests in Cassiobury Park from next Saturday (April 2) until April 18.
The two-week installation has replaced the Ice Age display that was meant to be up during the period, until it was cancelled due to shipping disruptions.
Instead, Watford’s park will see prehistoric creatures such as a giant 18 metre T. Rex, an eight-metre Triceratops, a Velociraptors, seven-metre Spinosaurus, 16-metre-tall Diplodocus and five-metre Stegosaurus.
And work has already begun as the creatures are already marking their territory at the park.
Once open, families can also enjoy a fossil excavation pit and a VR experience on site.
There will also be food and drink on offer, including steak sandwiches, burgers, churros and other food pop-ups.
Mayor of Watford, Peter Taylor, said the attraction will offer a “fun, educational day out” for everyone.
Children aged two and under do not require a ticket, but it is suggested that anyone planning on going should book a ticket online as it is cheaper than tickets at the door.
